INFORMAS Europe is the European network of research groups devoted to measuring food environments, investigating the impact of food environments and related policies on health and assessing the implementation of recommended food environment policies.
As part of the STOP Project, the Business Impact Assessment tool (BIA obesity) was used to benchmark private sector polices and practices related to nutrition at a European level, as well as for France and Belgium. In addition, the STOP project collaborated with the Policy Evaluation Network (PEN) to benchmark governments in 11 European countries, using the Healthy Food Environment Policy Index (Food-EPI).
